Champions League Returns With 18 Matchday One Fixtures

The UEFA Champions League kicks off on Tuesday with an expanded league phase featuring 18 matches spread across three nights.

Big clashes headline Matchday One, including Bayern Munich vs Chelsea, Juventus vs Borussia Dortmund, Ajax vs Inter Milan, and Liverpool vs Atlético Madrid. Real Madrid also begin their campaign chasing a record 200th Champions League win.

The competition welcomes debutants Union Saint-Gilloise, Pafos, Bodø/Glimt, and Kairat Almaty, who will be looking to make their mark against Europe’s elite.

English sides Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Newcastle face tough opening tests, while traditional giants Bayern, Real Madrid, and PSG aim to assert early dominance.
